Training Camps

Training camps are an excellent way to get ready for the hunt test and field trial season. Held on 600 acres of premier training grounds in Bruce MS, Coolwater Farms offers over 20 different pieces of water, rolling terrain, outdoor dog kennels and on site accommodations.

Camps are 7 days long. Field trial camps are capped at 6 dogs and hunt test camps at 8. Training days will consist of marks, blinds and drills, designed to get dogs and handlers sharp for the upcoming hunt test and trial season as well as advanced training. Participants are expected to bring a 2-way radio and a training pistol to assist with training tests when able.

Individuals staying in accomodations on the grounds, will receive a reduced rate for the camp. The rate for individuals who stay off site is slightly higher to cover grounds usage fees, which are paid to the property owner. Dates for 2022 training camps have been announced. Due to demand, two hunt test camps have been scheduled, April 10-16 and April 18-24, 2022. The field trial camp is slated for April 26 - May 2, 2022. Reserve your spot by clicking here.
